About.

Then and Now....In 1995 on 30 acres of flat land in Cecil County Maryland, New Horizon Farm was born. The MacBride's built the farm to house their new business of Thoroughbred race horses and a place for their daughter Kristin to bring her Eventing horse Max to.

From 2000-2006 Kristin ran a successful business in boarding and training clients horses, re-purposing off the track thoroughbreds, giving riding lessons as well as still competing in Eventing, Show Jumping and being involved in Pony Club. In 2007 New Horizon Farm closed its doors, after Kristin’s father, John MacBride, passed away after a long battle with MS.

In 2012 Kristin decided to get back into horses and that’s when she came across miniature horses. These little equines gave Kristin back what she loved that a whiplash accident had prevented her to do for so long, and that was training and showing horses again. Kristin acquired not just her first miniature from Hopkins Heavensent Miniatures, Hopkins Red Robin Hood a 31.5" chestnut stallion, but gained life long teachers and friends in Brad and Debra Hopkins.

“I am very thankful for Brad and Debra for taking me under their wing, being teachers and people who I can call my friends; they have taught me a lot about this miniature horse world and for that I will always be truly grateful.”

In 2017, Kristin achieved another one of her dreams of owning a horse farm again and moved into a new house on 11+ acres in Townsend, Delaware with her other half Jason. Both together have started building Intuition Stables taking it from a untamed jungle to a beautiful property that they are now producing their own hay on, along with housing the show horses.
